Get Involved!

iREAD is looking to expand to more libraries in other states through corporate participation. Getting involved means making a difference in the communities you serve, while associating your brand with a smart, highly visible program.

Sponsors provide monetary support in exchange for advertising and marketing exposure such as: branded program materials, branded graphics, branded apparel, digital ad space on the iREAD site and related social mediums, and access to program participants.

There are other partnership opportunities such as providing program materials, printing services, supplying reading incentives or developing media partnerships.

Why iREAD?

Reading empowers people and communities. Besides reducing "summer slide," summer reading programs promote literacy and life-long learning. Libraries are vibrant, rewarding resources for children and families. iREAD is the premier summer reading program in the U.S.

iREAD was created 35 years ago by Illinois librarians and has grown every year since. To have a larger impact, the Illinois Library Association has shared and created a national community around iREAD. Today, thousands of libraries in 42 states have adopted the iREAD program.
